Martori is a studio based in Nashville, Tennessee. This site describes the studio and its work. Where these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Martori. Where they say "you," they mean anyone using this site.

Our products, including Sanctuary, Marrow, Drift, Vigil, Ledger, Thermal, and Cut, are governed by their own terms when you use them. These terms cover this website and the Lark companion on it.

We build software for heartbreak, addiction recovery, grief, and other hard seasons. That work matters to us, which is why we are clear about its limits. The content on this site, and anything Lark says, is for information only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.

A companion can sit with you and help you take the next step. It cannot diagnose, treat, or stand in for human care. If you are making a decision about your health or safety, please talk to a professional who can help.

You are welcome to read, share, and link to this site. In return, we ask that you use it honestly and lawfully. Please do not:

• Break the law, or use the site to harm, harass, or deceive others.
• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
• Scrape, copy, or reuse the site or its content at scale without our permission.
• Misuse Lark, including attempts to extract sensitive data or push it toward harmful output.

The name Martori, our product names, the wordmark, the writing, the design, and the code of this site are ours, or used with permission. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may quote or reference this work with credit, but you may not copy it wholesale or present it as your own.

If you send us an idea, a note, or feedback, thank you. We may use it to improve what we do without owing you payment or credit for it, and you confirm you are free to share it with us.

This site links out to our products and to other places on the web, and it relies on services such as our host and our language model provider. We do not control those outside sites and services, and we are not responsible for their content or their practices. Following a link means leaving this site and its terms.

We put real care into this site, but we offer it as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee that anything Lark generates is accurate or complete. You use the site and its companion at your own discretion.

We may update these terms as the studio changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with them, the right move is to stop using the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, in the United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nashville, Tennessee.
