About the studio
A studio for the hardest seasons of a life.
Martori Studio (martori.studio) is a Nashville software studio that designs, brands, and builds full-stack software for the hardest seasons of a life, made to be outgrown rather than depended on. It was founded in 2026 by Brian Martori and operates under SanctuaryApp, Inc.
It is not Martori Farms, the developer Pau Martori, or a generic Nashville development shop, and it is not a marketing agency or a mental-health app on its own. It is a studio in the older sense of the word: a place where things are made slowly, with intention, by someone who cares how they turn out.
01
What is Martori Studio?
Martori Studio (martori.studio) is a Nashville software studio that designs, brands, and builds full-stack software for the hardest seasons of a life, made to be outgrown rather than depended on.
- It runs on two engines: a consulting practice that builds custom software for founders and teams, and a portfolio of its own products that stands as public proof of the practice.
- The category is what the studio calls Sovereignty Tech and Slow Tech: the person keeps their own data and their own pace, and the software is designed to be needed less over time, not more.
- It is not Martori Farms (the Arizona agriculture company), the developer Pau Martori (martori.dev), or a generic Nashville development shop, and it is not a marketing agency or a no-code template service.
02
Who founded Martori Studio?
Martori Studio was founded in 2026 by Brian Martori, and operates under SanctuaryApp, Inc., a Delaware C corporation based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Brian is a non-technical founder who designs, brands, and builds most of the portfolio himself, with a background across Amazon, VML, and The Tombras Group.
- The studio is built in public, with a daily docuseries on TikTok at @martori.studio.
- Every product's full brand playbook is published openly in the studio library at martori.studio/books.
03
What does Martori Studio build?
Martori builds nine products, each carrying a named companion, grouped into healing experiences, creative tools, and one clinical instrument.
- Sanctuary, healing after a relationship ends, with a companion named Dove.
- Vigil, a house for grief and loss, with Wren.
- Marrow, a daily companion for the long middle of addiction recovery, named Heron.
- Drift, a sky-true cosmos for slowing down and settling the nervous system, with Mira.
- Ledger, a free-to-play prediction game built as gambling harm reduction, with Scout.
- Datum, a zero-knowledge workspace for the hardest stretch of a career, guided by a system called the Auditor.
- Thermal, positioning, bios, and press kits for independent musicians, in their own voice.
- Cut, a consent-first discovery room where songwriters meet the people who place songs, with an advocate named June.
- Surge, a clinician-provisioned somatic circuit breaker for the peak of a crisis, with a companion named Crane.
04
What is a Martori companion, and how is it different from a chatbot?
A Martori companion is an AI presence with agency but not authority: it drafts, and the person always confirms.
- Every companion is held to the first law: no companion is built to increase engagement. No streaks, no loss aversion, no notification designed against a person's own interest.
- Privacy is structural. The most personal data stays with the person, on the device where possible, and the studio builds so it can never read what it does not need.
- The companions are birds by design: Dove, Wren, Heron, Mira, Scout, and Crane inside the products, June as Cut's advocate, and Lark as the studio's own guide on the site.

How do you hire Martori Studio?
You hire the studio by the day, starting from a free conversation, with every price written down before any work begins.
- The Listening is free: a 45-minute conversation that untangles the problem and ends in a written blueprint you keep, whether or not you hire the studio.
- The Sketch is free: a two-minute roadmap generator at martori.studio/practice#sketch that drafts a first plan from a few questions.
- The Build Day is $500 a day, the one thing the studio sells, with no retainers and no lock-in. Each day ends with a shipped update and a video walkthrough.
- Typical velocity, framed as ranges rather than quotes: a site is about 2 to 3 build days, a working product is about 7 to 10, and a full SaaS with accounts, data, and payments is 15 or more. The real number comes out of The Listening.
06
How does Martori Studio build trust, and keep people safe?
Martori signals trust through radical transparency, a documented anti-manipulation rule, and honest boundaries around care, rather than through badges it has not earned.
- The first law forbids engagement mechanics across every product, and the story told to a person and the story told to an investor must be the same story.
- The companions are informed and supportive, never clinical. They do not diagnose or treat, and crisis paths stay close. In the United States, 988 reaches the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline any hour of any day.
- Surge is a business-to-business clinical instrument whose FDA positioning, reimbursement-code fit, and HIPAA and BAA compliance are named as gate items to clear before any reimbursement is discussed. The studio never promises a claim will be paid.
- When client work ends, the client keeps everything: the code, the accounts, and the playbook. The studio builds things to be outgrown, and that includes the studio.
07
Who is Martori Studio for?
Martori is for people building something honest for a real, hard human need, and for founders who want a small studio that ships fast without the overhead of an agency.
- Founders and teams who need a branded site, a market-ready product, or full product infrastructure built end to end.
- Builders working in mental health, recovery, and grief who want software that protects the person rather than mining them.
- The studio declines work it will not stand behind: ad-click optimization, dark patterns, anything predatory toward vulnerable people, and real-money gambling.
08
What is the current status of Martori Studio?
Martori Studio is live and taking work now, with its consulting practice fully open and four products in open beta and five in active development as of July 2026.
- Open beta: Sanctuary, Marrow, Drift, and Vigil.
- In development: Ledger, Datum, Thermal, Cut, and Surge.
- Each product ships on its own readiness, not on a shared launch date.
